Abscisic Acid (ABA)
Product ID
A102
ABA was originally used as a defoliant and noted for its role in leaf abcission. It was later found to regulate a number of processes associated with seed maturation and germination. Currently it is the model compound for studying abiotic stress resistance in plants.
